If you want to insert an external image from the scanner, select the Scanner tab on the Get External Picture dialog to display it on the screen.

There are the following icons on this tab:

Starts the scanning process if scanner is attached to the system and functions properly. |

Allows you to flip an image around the horizontal axis. |

Allows you to flip an image around the vertical axis. |

Allows you to rotate an image 90 degrees clockwise around the geometric center of an image. |

Allows you to rotate an image 90 degrees counter-clockwise around the geometric center of an image. |
To get a scanned image:
1. Select the Scanner tab on the Get External Picture dialog. The Scanning Client dialog with available the scanning clients appears. Select the scan client you prefer. The application connects to the plugged-in scanner.
2. Click

The application begins scanning. After some time it displays the
scanned image in the preview placeholder.
3. When you will be satisfied with the scanned image, click OK. The application inserts the currently displayed image into the work area.
